Guys Week

This week began with us guys leaving the girls in Calgary with the girls from the other 2 sites. WOW that was a lot of girls in one place for a week. We traveled to Rundle Mountain Lodge in beautiful Canmore, Alberta. It was an amazing time of learning, having a blast and having sessions from Blayne Greiner and his best friend Gary Cropley. These two men were great. It was helpful to know that other guys struggle with the same things. We also had the opportunity to come up with questions to ask the girls. This was interesting but it created more questions then it answered but it was a good day. Sessions were not all that we did. We also participated in a sweet activity everyday. Some of these cool activities were; on our first day we were broke into groups of three (one guy from each site) and we did this crazy photo scavenger hunt. Another day we went for a nice hike in Johnston canyon, which was surprisingly a lot of fun. After the hike we went to Banff and shopped around and ate supper. We ended the evening by going to the Hot springs. Another cool activity we did was: we went to Calgary and went swimming at a leisure center then went to the mall for supper and that night we saw a Calgary Hitman hockey game. It was a really great time. All through out the week we all became good friends and did lots of fun activities. I think every guy can say it was one of the best weeks we have ever had!

Note: Compared to Girls Week, there are not that many pictures of Guys Week. The guys did many things during Guys Week but maybe due to the fast pastness of it or maybe the boys didn't think it was important to take pictures but anyways- sorry parent's of the boys!!!
